I’m Ben Carrier the owner of Atlantic Coastal Gardens, located on the North Coast of Cornwall, covering areas from St Teath to Mawgan Porth.
I have worked as a gardener since 2011 and qualified with a HNC from The Eden Project in Garden Design and Landscaping.
My team and I undertake all aspects of garden maintenance, management of herbaceous borders, shrubs, small tree removals and garden design and installations.

​Maintenance
From weekly mowing, weeding, hedge cutting, patio cleaning, strimming…we cover all aspects of garden maintenance. Managing a large amount of Perfect Stay properties and private homes, we ensure high standards are met.
Plant Maintenance

My real passion is working with plants, knowing about them, how to get the best flowering, pruning at the right times, reinvigorating tired flower beds, shrubs, along with lifting and dividing in the autumn and spring months is one of my favourite tasks…free plants!

Design
I undertake a small amount of design work each year, working with the client to deliver their wishes whilst guiding them with the right plants and design to suit their garden. Having trained at Eden in garden design, I thoroughly enjoy utilising my skills and transforming gardens.

Westwinds
Situated on the cliff at Pothcothan Bay, Westwinds was recently transformed from a quaint cottage into a contemporary three floor building which required a complete overhaul of its surrounding garden and terrace. Featuring large perennial beds and a sweeping marram grass bed to blend in with the beach setting.

Noordhoek
A 2 acre garden adjacent to the sand dunes at Porthcothan Bay, with a matrix grass bed at the front of the property, wild grass/flower meadows surrounding the sides and rear of the property along with herbaceous borders and a courtyard garden

Spin
Situated on the headland at Treyarnon, the enclosed courtyard large planters have palms, trees ferns and a variety of perennials, which deliver a tropical feel tucked out of the winds.
